Welcome to Manypixels
Photography is a long time hobby of mine. It started with an old Praktica MTL3 camera which first belonged to my Dad. When it fell apart I bought myself a Canon EOS 600 camera and developed my own photos in a darkroom I had at that time.
My first digital camera was a Fujifilm Finepix 6900Z. I had it a few years but couldn’t resist the call of a far better camera, the Nikon D70 which really opened my eyes to digital and the sheer possibilities of post processing. The D70 was followed by a D300, a couple of lenses and I was as happy as a child in a candyshop. The last few years however I noticed that the “schlepping” of all that stuff began to annoy me, resulting in leaving my camera at home more often in favor of a small Sony RX100 when I went out.
Then I became interested in the Olympus OM-D E-M5. Small, low weight, a good lens line-up, and last but not least, a very decent image quality. I decided to give it a try and was sold.
Today I have an OM-D E-M1, an OM-D E-M10-II with some prime lenses and a few PRO zoom lenses. I’m back in the candyshop!
On these pages you will find a small collection of some photos I took.
In time there will be new additions. Feel free to have a look around.
